Why Thomas Ridley?
Offering a fast, comprehensive and environmentally-conscious service across the catering and hospitality industry, no matter what your requirements are - we’re here to provide you with everything you need.
More than just a foodservice wholesaler
Thomas Ridley is an independent business within the Caterfood Buying Group. With decades of experience in foodservice, we pride ourselves not just in supplying you with the products that you need, but in offering you a personal, high-quality service and a range of great, cost-effective Caterfood products.
We also go the extra mile when it comes to sustainability. We can help you to recycle your waste cooking oil and cardboard - diverting as much waste from landfill as possible - and our multi-temperature delivery fleet helps to cut down on multiple deliveries and wasted road miles.
Being an independent company means we can be flexible to your needs, personal in our approach and react promptly to changes in the market.
Delivering food for life
With over 8,000 products stocked across ambient, frozen, chilled, fresh fruit and veg, butchered fresh meat, wines, beers and spirits, as well as professional tableware, cleaning and packaging products, our team at Thomas Ridley can supply your business with a total foodservice solution; reducing the number of orders you need to place and deliveries you need to receive.
From schools to care homes, football clubs to pubs, farm shops to fine-dining - we’re delivering food for life, and helping you to get everything you need in fast and friendly deliveries. All at a fair and competitive price, with excellent service levels.
Professionals you can trust
Our teams are always staying on top of the latest food trends and innovations to make sure that our range is up-to-date, our supply chains are strong and our accreditations are current, so that you can order with confidence. We are proud to be BRCGS certified, AA Grade, which gives you extra confidence in our operation.
We have a dedicated team of ex-chefs and food lovers on hand who know the products and the industry inside out, to help you reach your goals. Our in-house Development Chef, Tony Prince has had an extensive career consulting on commercial kitchen design, flow, menu development and staff training and is there to help our customers try out new products, develop sample menus and discover new ways to work in foodservice.
Ask your Area Sales Manager how we can help you with things like menu creation, allergen advice and support with recycling your waste, on top of providing a one-stop-shop for all of your professional catering and hospitality goods.
