A deep filled pie for the winter season. Made with a shortcrust pastry base and a puff pastry top. Tender pieces of Scottish Estate Venison, marinated in red wine, juniper and a blend of herbs, before being cooked in a rich gravy with onions and mushrooms. Meets Food For Life bronze standards. Supplied baked, frozen. Reheat to serve. Each catering pack contains 12 x 285g pies.

Preparation | Product must be reheated to eat. Preheat oven to 190C/375F/170C Fan/ Gas Mark 5. Remove product from box but leave in the foil. Place product on a baking tray and carefully put into the pre-heated oven. Cook for approximately 40-45 minutes from frozen or 25-30 minutes from defrosted. This is a guide as all appliances may be slightly different. Ensure the centre of the product is piping hot before serving. Once hot, serve and do not reheat again. |
