Preparation | MAKE UP INSTRUCTIONS: Place required amount of mix (see table below) into a bowl and add required amount of water and oil (or water only). Using a beater, mix for 1 minute on slow speed. Scrape down, then mix for 3 minutes on medium speed. Scale at 85g into small muffin cases and bake at 195C/385F/Gas Mark 5 for approximately 28 minutes. For a loaf cake, scale at 450g (1lb) and bake at 180C/360F/Gas Mark 4 for approximately 45-50 minutes. Dried fruit, chocolate chips or flavourings can be incorporated into the batter and the muffins can be iced or filled once cool. These instructions are intended as a guide and may require changes to fit individual conditions. |
