Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, these delicious onion rings come in a variety of sizes, providing soft 10-12mm onion slices inside a crispy, yellow-brown, slightly beer-flavoured battered. Preparation | OVEN: Pre-heat the oven to 200C. Arrange a single layer of onion rings on a baking tray. Put in the oven for 16-18 minutes turning once halfway through cooking time. DEEP FRY: Pre-heat the oil at 190C. Gently lower 8 or 9 onion rings into the pre-heated oil and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve. Do not overload frying basket. |
