Last week, Justin Godfrey was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Bury and West Suffolk Business Awards
Safe to say, Justin was pleasantly surprised to be nominated - and even more so to win! For the last 23 years, Justin has followed in his father's and grandfather's footsteps, marking six generations of family leadership and helped Thomas Ridley grow into what it is today: a large, stable West Suffolk business.
Within that time, Justin steered Thomas Ridley through embarking in digital sales and operating during the Covid-19 pandemic; keeping a constant supply of food and drink going to the frontline hospitals, care homes and schools we proudly work with.
This award is fantastic recognition for everyone at Thomas Ridley who has worked, and continues to work, so hard to deliver a fantastic service for our customers and to create a thriving workplace for our staff and local community. Congratulations, Justin!
