The Thomas Ridley annual staff awards and celebration party - a night dedicated to celebrating the people who make our success possible. What a great way to start the new year!
This year's celebration was packed with exciting entertainment, including a charismatic compare presenter, awards to honour our outstanding employees of the year, a live band, a photo booth and sweet carts. Thanks to the hard work of our fantastic party committee, the evening was filled with great fun and laughter.
We believe that showing appreciation and treating our staff is essential to fostering a positive and motivated workplace. This celebration is our heartfelt thank you to the team for their dedication, collaboration and commitment throughout the year.
During the evening, four awards were presented to Employees of the Year across various departments, with nominations made by their fellow colleagues. Congratulations to all the nominees - here are the results:
Transport Employee of the Year
Michael Belicaj
Michael has been a dedicated member of the Thomas Ridley team for nearly 10 years and his incredible work ethic hasn't gone unnoticed. His commitment to helping others truly shines through and is reflected in the remarkable 13 nominations he received.

Megan Cornes
Megan stepped into her role at Thomas Ridley during the challenging times of covid which was no small feat, but she quickly excelled. Her dedication and hard work have been a real asset to the team and at the end of 2024 she was promoted to Customer Service Manager - a well deserved promotion!

Since joining in May 2022 as an Assembly Operator, Ethan has consistently shown a positive attitude and strong willingness to help wherever needed. His flexibility, eagerness to learn and supportive nature makes him a pleasure to work with and a valued colleague in the operations team.
