Join us at the EAT trade show in Ipswich!

Thomas Ridley launch EAT trade show at Ipswich Town Football Club, 19th September

Join us on Tuesday 19th September for what we hope will be the East Anglian food and drink trade show in the region, bringing together foodservice professionals and more than 80 different food and drink companies under one roof.

Spanning three floors at Ipswich Town Football Club, the EAT trade show is free to attend and open to all foodservice businesses and catering professionals.

The idea behind this new one-day event is to create a dedicated food and drink showcase for the region, where people from across the foodservice industry can come together, network, sample and meet the many suppliers that we work with.

There will also be some great promotions available on the day!

Jon Matthews, Sales Director of Thomas Ridley Foodservice, said:

“The last few years have been tough on the food and drink sector, so this is a great way to bring customers, potential customers, students and suppliers together to really celebrate working in foodservice - and help to support the range of fantastic East Anglian food and drink producers that we work with, alongside national brands.

“Whether you want to research new products for your menus, network and meet suppliers or have a conversation with the Thomas Ridley sales team, this is a great opportunity to find out more about the industry and our 200-year old company. Make sure you visit us on the 19th September between 9am and 5pm.”

The EAT trade show is supported by 13 sponsors;

Aspall, Stokes, Adnams, Bridor, Heinz, Nestle Professional, Mars Wrigley, Premier Foods, Unilever Away From Home, McVities, Pidy, Yarde Farm and the Caterfood Collection. Thank you for your support!

Jon Matthews, added: “We’ve wanted to host an event like this for a while, not only bringing our suppliers together for a dedicated trade show but creating something new that really champions the region’s amazing food and drink scene and everyone working in the industry.

"It will be a fantastic showcase for foodservice in East Anglia and we can’t wait to see it all come together on the day.”

The EAT trade show will have a fantastic mix of local, independent producers and national brands, all of which work with Thomas Ridley to supply schools, hospitals, care homes, pubs, hotels and cafes with everything that they need for a total foodservice solution.

The event is also partnering with the Culinary Arts department at Suffolk New College, ensuring that the trade show will also cater for future chefs and foodservice professionals who want to find out more about the many different roles available to them in the industry.
