Introducing Tony Prince, our new Development Chef

We’re excited to have a new Dev Chef in the kitchen!

Tony has been a chef for around twenty years and worked in a wide range of roles and places. At Thomas Ridley, Tony will be helping us to develop sample menus, cook for customer demonstrations and run tasting days events for our teams.

Tony has had an extensive career consulting on commercial kitchen design, flow, menu development and staff training. For several years, Tony worked for David Lloyd, setting up kitchens and menus in all of their new sites, and, in another role, he oversaw the design of all of the restaurants and food truck points at Legoland!

Over the last few years Tony has been running The Suffolk Jungle Rooms with his wife and is still ‘chefing’ part-time in their site at The Wissett Plough. Tony’s is a big fan of local produce and his favourite thing to cook at home for himself is a proper home-made curry!

On starting at Thomas Ridley, Tony said: “I’ve really enjoyed working with Thomas Ridley as a customer and valued the amount of local products on offer. The opportunity to join the team and help develop our offering and how Thomas Ridley works with other chefs was really appealing to me. I’m looking forward to the variety that this role will bring and getting stuck into creating lots of different menu options to show off our great products.”
