Frozen, uncooked peeled and deveined king prawns with added water. Prawns are crustaceans of varying size with sweet, firm, meaty flesh. Once a luxury, they are now considered an everyday ingredient. Farmed in Vietnam or India and packed in the UK. Each catering pack is 1kg and contains approximately 26 - 30 pieces per lb. There are 10 packs in each wholesale case.

| Preparation | Defrost at room temperature for approx.3 hours or overnight in refrigerator. Once defrosted keep refrigerated and consume within 24 hours. Grill: Place under a pre heated medium grill for 8 minutes. Turn Once half way through cooking. Shallow Fry: Preheat 1 tbsp. of olive oil or a knob of butter in a frying pan. Cook prawns over a medium heat for 3 minutes, stirring continuously. |
